In this video feature, General Manager Patrick Wilkinson is once more joined by his daughter, Rachel, as they talk us through how to play the 14th Hole at Diamondback!
Welcome to Diamondback Golf Course. Today, we’re here on Hole Number 9, a 378-yard par four, straightaway finishing hole on the front side. Today, my daughter, Rachel Wilkinson, is going to play from the white tees, which go about 337 yards.
The best way to play this hole? You just basically keep it in play down the center of the fairway. Aim at the 150-yard marker, and you’ll be in good shape. Anything left or right will find a heavily tree-lined rough line, and that’s going to make getting to this green on your second shot very difficult.
As you can see Rachel’s approach shot to the green, she’s actually made this hole play very easy, so she’s got about 18 feet for birdie. Let’s see how she does!
I hope that you enjoyed today’s lesson on how to get around the holes at Diamondback Golf Course. For more information, please contact us at (843) 756-3264 or on the website at playdiamondbackgolf.com. We’re open year-round, and we’d love to have you.
