In this video feature, General Manager Patrick Wilkinson is once more joined by his daughter, Rachel, as they team up to show you the 13th Hole at Diamondback and how to play it!
Welcome to Diamondback Golf Course. My name is Patrick Wilkinson, and I’m the general manager here. Today we’re on Hole Number 13, a 368-yard par 4, dogleg left. The way to play this hole is to keep it down the middle. Aim at the 150-yard marker, hit it to that point, and then go onto the green. We have water to the right and out-of-bounds to the left, so it is a premium to catch the fairway. You do have a couple of bunkers down the left side that will make your second shot almost impossible to get to the green.
My daughter, Rachel Wilkinson, will be playing the white tees, and she’ll show you how to play this hole. As you can see, Rachel actually used about a half club too much to get here. She’s on the back of the green, but she has a pretty good putt, maybe 20, 25 feet for birdie. Let’s see how she does.
I hope that you enjoyed today’s lesson on how to get around the holes at Diamondback Golf Course.
