We are partial, but at Diamondback Golf Club we believe we have the best members in the Myrtle Beach area. Jaret Jackson has lived in the Loris area all his life, and is now trying to give back to the game of golf through The First Tee. When Jaret is not spending time with his wife and daughter, who is set to be a junior in high school, he is helping the kids in the Cedar Branch community with the game of golf. He enjoys giving back to the community and helping those kids grow into adults.
Golf is hard enough as it is, but for Jaret it comes with an added challenge. Jaret lost his left arm to an accident a few years ago. Golf has always been a part of Jaret’s life, and he started playing the game because “no one in his area was doing it.” Jaret was an athlete playing football, basketball, baseball, and eventually golf, and before his accident Jaret’s golf game steadily improved to where he fell in love with the game so much it kept him coming back. He recognizes that golf is a challenging game, which is why he didn’t quit playing golf after his accident. Now he is working hard to get his golf game back to full force.
Jaret plays with a large group of members at Diamondback Golf Club every week. “The company, the people we play with is what makes Diamondback so special,” he says. Jaret has been coming to Diamondback for years, and commends General Manager Patrick Wilkinson and his entire staff for the excellent shape that it’s in. Jaret also remarked that everyone at Diamondback makes him feel like family, and that’s what really separates it from other clubs.
Jaret is one of many extraordinary personalities who we are fortunate to have as a member at Diamondback Golf Club. To learn more about our membership opportunities, click here. To book a tee time give us a call at 843-756-3264, or book online here!
