One of the best parts of a round of golf with your buddies is sitting around, enjoying some food and drinks, and making fun of each other’s golf game. With Diamondback, there are a handful of great restaurants within a 20-minute drive of the golf course. If you’re not already busy hanging out with us in the clubhouse afterwards, make sure you try out these four area restaurants.
Parkway Bistro – Located 15 minutes south of Diamondback, Parkway Bistro has one of the more unique menus in the area. The main focus of the restaurant is its Italian food with some of the best pasta dishes around. If pasta does not suit your palate, make sure to try one of the salads or tasty subs. Parkway Bistro also offers steak, seafood, and burger options. They really have everything you could want.
Chris’ Pizza & Pub – Just 18 minutes away from Diamondback Golf Club, Chris’ Pizza & Pub offers the type of food that golfers crave. The moment you step foot into Chris’, you feel at home. You can either sit at the bar and enjoy some appetizers, or with the group and try their famous pizza. However, pizza isn’t the only thing on the menu. You can try one of the many sandwich options, or even spring for a soup and salad combination.
International Kitchen – International Kitchen is a Polish-style restaurant with some American classics thrown in. You have the traditional Polish option like the Polish Delight and the Jaeger Chicken. You also have the American options like the wings and the homemade club sandwich. Make sure you finish off your meal with some tasty cheesecake.
Eddie’s Italian Café – Going back to the Italian food theme, Eddie’s Italian Café brings authentic Italian food into a relaxed, Carolina setting. Of course, the pizza is great, but another popular item is the Blackened Chicken Alfredo. With the homemade sauce, it is a must-try.
