In this spotlight, Diamondback General Manager Patrick Wilkinson takes us on an aerial video tour of the par-3 4th hole. Take a look, and hear what Patrick has to say about how best to play it!
Patrick Wilkinson:
Hello. I’m Patrick Wilkinson, general manager of Diamondback Golf Course. And today we’re out here on hole number four. It’s 179 yards, a par three, from actually the “rattlesnake tees,” what we call them, but they’re the white tees.
It’s a challenging hole. It’s got water down the left, two bunkers that guard the green to the right. A precision shot is what you need to make this happen. The green on number four is an oblong-shaped green. And like I said, it’s heavily guarded to the right with the two bunkers. And the green, there’s not a lot of slope, but a good shot in there can give you a great birdie opportunity.
I hope you enjoyed today’s video on how to play the hole at Diamondback Golf Course. I’d like to invite you to come out and play Diamondback on your next trip into Myrtle Beach. And take the challenge, see if you can get around this golf course. And I promise you you’ll have a heck of a good time.
